About Amanda
Amanda Erixon is a Swedish actress and performer currently based in Stockholm. Singing has always been a big part of her life and through music she found her way to the theater.
A few years ago she completed the 2-year conservatory program at Stella Adler Studio of Acting in New York City. She has also studied musical theater at Kulturama in her hometown of Stockholm as well as a film and television intensive at the Art of Acting Studio in Los Angeles.
Her most recent roles include Ronia in Ronia, the Robber’s Daughter, Maria in Twelfth Night, Titania in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Lenny in Crimes of the Heart, Hindl in God of Vengeance, Firuzeh in Esther The Musical, Girl G in Kiss That Frog and Molly in the short film A New York Moment.
Before moving to the US for her theatre studies, she was an intern in the ensemble of Jesus Christ Superstar in Stockholm and a singer and entertainer in Turkish hospitality. Amanda received a grant from SWEA New York last year and is now producing Astrid Lindgren plays in the U.S.
